A Team Approach
Elwyn's philosophy is family and team-based with the goal of supporting the team process and working in cooperation with the Regional Center and Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to achieve successful outcomes for the people we support. Elwyn seeks to honor the wishes of individuals and their families in determining day programming activities. Consistent with its core values, Elwyn has developed a community based, highly individualized day program called Elwyn California Occupational and Recreational Enterprises, or ENCORE, serving residents of Elwyn's homes in Southern California.
