Keywords: midline orientation, bilateral coordination, HOH assist, finger isolation, visual stimulation

Materials: white printer paper or origami paper, markers, glue stick (optional), scissors

Directions: Cut paper into a square shape or use origami paper, follow the attached picture directions and have clients crease and fold paper as tolerated. When completed, use markers to decorate one side with the attached ideas or create their own. The completed craft can be used to bookmark any books or magazines they were looking over.

This activity allows clients to participate in aligning and folding papers into a completed project. It encourages using hands at midline orientation and using bilateral coordination to do so. It has clients tolerating HOH assist to crease firmly and isolate fingers to do so. It provides colorful visual stimulation and practical use to place a holder in books.
