This activity allows the clients to measure, scoop, and pour ingredients. This allows them to participate in everyday life and make a tasty treat (they can smell it if not eating safely by mouth). When using a handheld mixer, the vibrations will give tactile and sensory stimulation, tolerating HOH assist during its use. In addition, scooping and pouring encourage active grasp, visual coordination, and active wrist movements.
